An additional feature that I find quite useful is the ability to assign a different icon to each individual server. These icons will appear next to the server alias in the server listing and on the server tabs along the bottom of the Xnews program window.

In addition to the fact that this looks nice, the main advantage that these icons provide is for quick differentiation between open servers when in tabbed view (ctrl-z).

To define custom server icons^[1], begin by placing your *.ico files in your Xnews program directory. Then, open servers.ini in your text editor and, under section for the server, add the following:
